Why do so many people believe in the absoluteness of right or wrong? This denies the very real possibility – probability – that there is more than one way to skin a cat. This line of thinking goes especially well with the person who is possessed of the victim mentality. If your choice is other than theirs they project their insecurity on you and accuse you of judging them.
Take having kids for example. A beautiful experience – no denying – but not everyone’s choice. Does that mean there is something wrong with those who make the choice if you don’t? Of course not. But try explaining your lack of kids to someone who believes that’s our reason for being on earth. Good luck if your reason is not medical – and be prepared to offer proof (and adopt) if your reason is medical.
I enjoy children and I’ve done my share of raising those in our family. I have a niece who looks 10 times more like me than her mom – a fact that her mom has only just recently accepted (like yesterday). Strangers constantly assume she is my biological child even when my sister is standing with us. So as far as the need to add someone to the world who reminds me of myself – I’m straight, that item on the list was checked off for me.
Still when it’s known that I haven’t given birth, people feel free to make the rudest comments. And even though I will be 40 in about a month I am harrassed about when I plan to start a family. Um, how about never – and no it is not an indictment of your viable choice to have 8 kids and run a self-sustaining farm. That is a valid option and if you like it, I love it.

To worry the crap out of someone else with your religious convictions in the hopes of getting them to join the fold. Whatever fold that is you believe is the “only right one.”
The interesting thing about people of this ilk is that they aren’t spiritually evolved enough to realize that brand doesn’t matter. Love is love no matter the color of the box or the name stamped on it.
I don’t think you can get this life wrong – no matter what, it all comes out in the wash. There is no lake of fire or eternal damnation – unless of course you strongly believe in such things. In which case your mind will strive to create that reality for you. So if you don’t want to go to Hell, just stop believing in it.
And if you strongly disagree with this, well that’s fine too. It doesn’t matter in the grand scheme.

Anger is a low level vibration that is very dangerous and should be expelled as soon as you are able. I experienced something today that peeved me greatly – I cannot deny that. It’s not even worth getting into what it was though so I won’t bother.
One thing I realized while I was going through it is that I didn’t want to attract more of the same and I needed to raise my vibration as soon as possible. I didn’t raise it as fast as I would have liked though. I did say some not nice things first and I certainly had some not nice thoughts. I’d like to get to the point where I can just roll with the punches and not CARE. The fact that I cared about the incident is what caused me to be angry. And I knew who I was dealing with and the antics that always ensue so I shouldn’t have even been surprised.
I can laugh about it now because what transpired was truly absurd. And of course no apology was going to be given because this crew can find victimhood in anything – even their own crimes. But at the time the rage I felt left me open to attracting other low vibration things and that’s what I won’t let happen.

I’ve often heard the saying that there is nothing to fear but fear itself. I’ve heard it, repeated it and assumed for years that I knew what it meant. Now I think I do. Fear is a tangible substance and from this substance “fearful things” are created. Without the fear there would be no creation of the things you fear. Fear is a vibration – it aligns you with fearful things. Raise your vibration and you can’t resonate with “fearful things” thus they can’t manifest in your reality.

One of my favorite cousins has withdrawn from physical consciousness and returned to the non-physical realm. I don’t feel sad. I just feel extremely excited. I’ve already connected with him and I can feel his presence stronger than any presence I’ve felt before.
I know my aunt and other family are devastated by the loss and the circumstances of his transition. He was murdered by a sensless idiot. But he always was one to do things with a splash and passing quietly into the night wouldn’t have been his style.

I am extremely annoyed by what some of the younger generation consider “activism” and being “conscious.” Basically they are reading material that was meant to enlighten us about our history in America and using it to turn their backs on the realities of the globalization of the world today.
My understanding of the Universe is at an extremely spiritual level. I have enough difficulty even identifying with having a “physical” body to look after – let alone worrying about what color skin it has and whether that makes me an African when I clearly was born in America to American parents whose history in this country stretches back for centuries. If you must identify yourself geographically – rather than as an earthling – do so and use your own set of values to inform your decision. But don’t impose your pedestrian view upon me under the guise of you being enlightened. When in fact you may just be a wet behind the ears kid who is 12 years behind (in your revolutionary reading material) those you seek to educate.
If you are still seeing this “physical world” as a construct of physical matter we can’t even really go “there” in a so called deep conversation anyway. To attempt to tell me I am an African based on something you read at the library when you don’t even have a passport annoys me on many levels. First it ignores the opinions of other diverse groups and how they choose to see themselves based on their culture while basing culture on skin color. Secondly it supposes that there is some “true” way to view nationality anyway. Call yourself what you want and respect me enough to allow me to do the same.
If you can’t see what you have in common with people who look NOTHING like you, you may just be missing the whole point of being human anyway.

I understand people and I know how to connect with them on a very human level. I am real and authentic and I can drop the veil when needed. People often tell me their darkest secrets because I am not horrified or alarmed by them.
I am a good listener and try to be nonjudgemental – though I can be blunt when the situation calls for it. I am able to read people’s spiritual energy – I’ll call it that for lack of a better term. Because of my empathetic ability I don’t care to be around dishonest people. I can see through the lies and it just wastes my time.
I don’t believe you can lie to other people anyway. You’re only able to lie to yourself and others are fooled by it or not depending on how intuned they are with you and the reality you are creating.
I can create beauty – on canvas, through pottery, even in room decor. I like pretty things for no other reason than the pleasure of being surrounded by them. They are their own reward and enhance my environment.
I also have agreen thumb and can grow plants from seeds or have them magically planted by visiting birds before I nurture them into something spectacular.
